Dr. Med Giorgos Konstantopoulos graduated from the medical school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and got his doctoral degree from the University of Munich in Germany on Social Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. He has served as a member of the Greek parliament for 12 years and has been deputy Minister of Health for 5 years. He is currently member of the board in Konstantopoulos S.A. “Olymp” one of the biggest producing and exporting industries of Greek Olives and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. He is vice president of “P.E.M.E.T.E”, the Panhellenic association of table olives processors, packers and exporters. He is also a board member in “SBBE”, the Feredation of Industries of Northen Greece, while he is still holding his position as an associate professor in the Medical School of Thessaloniki.
